Seeing children overcome trauma and anxiety, and then begin to truly thrive in their learning. I also feel incredibly privileged to lead such an amazing team—each person is so gifted in their role!

I get outside!

Watching a child’s confidence grow and start to believe in themself. Learning isn’t just about information. It’s about confidence, curiosity and connection.

Talking, a big cuddle, or a big cry!

Favourite part of your role:
Building relationships with young people and creating a safe and trusted space for them to be authentically themselves. I also enjoy learning the latest teen lingo which results in me giving myself the “ick” when I try to use it in a sentence (no cap, nice flex, right?) 😬

Helping my students to really recognise how amazing they are and what they are capable of achieving. It is the absolute best to see them feeling proud of themselves!

Enjoying being in the countryside: the sound of bird song, a trickling stream, catching sight of wildlife. I love being in God’s creation!
