James joined Emotionally Healthy Minds in January 2025 as a non-executive director and in leading the organisation’s work within schools. He delivers staff training, student workshops and parent sessions focused on emotional health, resilience and wellbeing. Prior to this, James has worked in education for over two decades, spending twenty years teaching in primary schools, which included ten years as a Deputy Headteacher. Throughout his career, he has been passionate about creating emotionally healthy school environments where both pupils and staff can thrive.
